I had a pleasant two-night stay in a spacious double room. The staff were attentive, and the breakfast offered a good selection of local ingredients. the noise from the busy street affected my sleep quality, and the bathroom could use some updates.

would recommend for a short stay

Comfortable room, attentive staff, the breakfast was delicious with a variety of options including an excellent salmon and scrambled eggs dish, free wi-fi was also a great addition, and it's conveniently located just 69 km from the nearest airport.

    spacious room
    superb breakfast

Couples getaway for a centrally located stay

We had a lovely spacious room overlooking the main street and the full Scottish breakfast was superb although my wife opted for the lighter but still delicious Smoked Salmon and scrambled egg.

It wasn’t cheap but still acceptable for what we experienced.

    clean rooms
    good dinner
    lack of amenities
    minimal staff
    noise disturbances

Rooms were clean and well-sized. the absence of amenities like a bar or restaurant was disappointing, and the lack of staff presence left us feeling unattended. noise during the night from other guests affected our sleep quality. Dinner was enjoyable, featuring seasonal vegetables. a mixed experience with room comfort overshadowed by service issues.

    friendly staff
    great breakfast
    cozy accommodations
    payment issues

Had a great time with my friends staying at this cozy place. We loved exploring the nearby attractions and had a blast at the local pub. The breakfast was solid, and the staff was super friendly, always ready to help us out. Relaxing in the bar after a long day was a highlight for us.

We faced some issues during our stay, especially when we were told we couldn't pay by card. It was a bit frustrating trying to sort that out.
